Palmetto Bay was incorporated on September 2, 2002 and is proud to be recognized as a “Village of parks” which provides its residents with a vast array of family entertainment.
 
Parks surrounding our village are:

Coral Reef Park, located at 7895 SW 152 St. Palmetto Bay, Fl. 33157 is a beautiful 51.3 acres that provide the opportunity to coexist with nature and enjoy various outdoor sports and activities (tennis, volley ball, baseball, soccer, jogging, picnic, canoe, kayak or simply just a walk in the meditation garden).
During the year they offer classes of your favorite sports and during the summer you have the options for summer camp.

Ludovici Park, located at 17641 Old Cutler Rd., next to our village Library, this park has a walk trail and amphitheater where during the year they organize special events, and  has a community room.

Palmetto Bay Park,  located at 17535 SW 95 Ave. Palmetto Bay, Fl. 33157,  is a big 25 acre park, where you can hear the sound of children laughing in a big fabulous playground.   This park also provides tennis court, 6 softball fields, two picnic gazebos, skate area, etc.

                                                                                                                      
Perrine Wayside Park (Dog Park), located at 16425 South Dixie highway, Palmetto Bay, Fl. 33157, is a 3 acre park with a lake to welcome your large and small dogs.

Tahalatta Park/Palmetto Bay, Fl.
Tahalatta Park, a historic Mediterranean Revival style property built in 1925, with a sweet cascade, is a perfect place to celebrate weddings or to simply take a stroll to marvel the bay side view.  This park is located at 17301 Old. Cutler Rd.                                                              
 Along with our many beautiful parks, Palmetto Bay Village is a playful city with innovative programs for children of all ages, which make it a desirable place to live.
