January 2013 Events in Palmetto Bay

Making a search in the Internet, I found this quote "No one can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending" (Unknown), so let's take this new year, as a new opportunity to better ourselves, we just need to work and focus in our new resolutions.

As a blogger, I tried to assist all the Palmetto Bay events and the last month, I had the opportunity to go to the "Holiday by the Bay" at Ludovici Park, my kids and I had so much fun, also it was nice to meet with the Mayor Mrs. Shelley Stanczyk.





















Continuing with my goal to inform the Palmetto Bay community, the following activities will be taking place in the month of January:

Family Campfire and Owl Walk
Great experience, you will learn about nocturnal native wildlife and hike on the trail looking for these nocturnal animals.

Holiday Boat Parade and Canned Food Drive.
The boat parade route travels south on the canal through Palmetto Bay, passes by Bill Sadowsky Park and ends in Southwest Palmetto Bay.
For those, who want to donate canned food, please go to the  Coral Reef Park by the pedestrian bridge, somebody will collect the items from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
