Market Update:

A slight reduction of the mortgage rate interest has been experimented with by today we have 4.7% APR on a 30 year fixed loan.

Equally important is to see the inventory that we have in the cities of Coral Gables, Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay and Cutler Bay. Check out the following chart.

Let’s take another look at what happened during this summer vacation in Palmetto Bay:

 The Summer Concert at Ludovici Park was sponsored by Commissioner Linda Bell. We had a great time watching The Fire Brigade perform and admiring the antique cars on display.
                                                                                        

 

 On August 4, we celebrated with the Back to School Carnival at The Palmetto Bay Park, which was sponsored by Gus Machado Ford.

The kids had so much fun with all the rides, also families got a free back pack with school supplies.
 

 

 

 

 In addition, just last Saturday the public was invited to see the Deering Estate.

As always, they offered so many exciting activities for the kids including up close encounters with reptiles.

Market Update

The mortgage rates interest has reached their highest levels in the last two years. January of this year, we started with 3.34%, approximately  6 months later we have 4.66%. The benchmark rate on the 30-year has spiked  more than one point.

The housing recovering is strengthening, the number of single family homes sold since 2012 in Coral Gables has increased by 10%, Pinecrest 14%, Palmetto Bay 22%, and Cutler Bay 12%.

Home values have increased as a result of this recovery:

Pinecrest  14.7%
Coral Gables 18.9%
Palmetto Bay 10.7%
Cutler Bay 14.5%
