Market Update
The mortgage rates interest has reached their highest
levels in the last two years. January of this year, we started with 3.34%, approximately
6 months later we have 4.66%. The
benchmark rate on the 30-year has spiked more than one point.
The housing recovering is strengthening, the number of single family homes
sold since 2012 in Coral Gables has increased by 10%, Pinecrest 14%, Palmetto Bay
22%, and Cutler Bay 12%.
Home values have increased as a result of this recovery:
Pinecrest 14.7%Coral Gables 18.9%
Palmetto Bay 10.7%
Cutler Bay 14.5%
