WHAT! MY PROPERTY HAS A LIEN?

"Yes, your property has a lien" that was what I heard during a real estate transaction and the seller was surprised.

I would imagine everyone would like to know how to research and find out if their real estate property is clear of liens, well I want to share with you how to access the Miami Dade County property records.

* The first steep is to go to the website http://www.miami-dadeclerk.com/

* In the left column, select County recorder official record search.

* Select basic search

* Write your last and first name. In document type you can select lien or leave it in blank in this field and write the captcha.

* The records will come up.

* On the left side the clerk's file number will appear, click and you will see the details.

If you have any questions in reference to your records or you have legal questions I recommend you to contact your real estate attorney. My intention is just to show you how you can access the public records.

For any real estate questions or if you are planning to sell I will be more than happy to provide you a Market Value Analysis of your property, please feel free to contact Maria Medina at 305-905-3370
